We understand that going through a divorce is one of the most difficult experiences a person can face. You may feel an overwhelming desire to “just be done” with it. We encourage you to find an attorney who can help you through those tough emotions and keep your case on track.

The reality is that the effects of your divorce proceedings can last for years afterward, so it's important to have a strong advocate on your side. We want to fight for your best outcome so that you can move confidently into the next phase of your life.

Consultation

Your first visit to our office is free of charge. This is a time to discuss your case and hear about your options. For out of town prospective clients, we offer phone consultations. Please bring your valid driver’s license or current identification card and any documents relating to your case.

During your initial consultation, the attorney will discuss your matter in detail, offering options and explaining whether the matter can be handled on a flat fee or hourly rate. After your consultation, you can choose whether or not to hire us. If you choose not to hire us, you do not owe us any fee for the consultation.

Cost

We know you work hard. Legal representation can be costly. That’s why we offer flexible charge and payment options. During your consult, we will discuss the use of a flat fee or hourly rate and the possibility of a payment plan.

Please be aware that several factors can affect the cost of representation, including:

  •               Complexity of your case
  •               Number of court appearances
  •               Involvement of a guardian ad litem or expert witness
  •               Use of an investigator
  •               Filing fees and service of process fees

Divorce cases can last from a few months to over a year. We will do our best to resolve as soon as possible, but the overall length of the case and the above factors will play a large role in determining your final costs.
