We understand that a custody battle is one of the most difficult experiences a person can face. That’s why you need an attorney who is not only determined and empathetic, but also dispassionate enough to guide you through the emotional moments that come with a custody case. We value your best interest, and the interests of your children, above all else.
Your first visit to our office is free of charge. This is a time to discuss your case and hear about your options. For out of town prospective clients, we offer phone consultations. Please bring your valid driver’s license or current identification card and any documents relating to your case.
During your initial consultation, the attorney will discuss your matter in detail, offering options and explaining whether the matter can be handled on a flat fee or hourly rate. After your consultation, you can choose whether or not to hire us. If you choose not to hire us, you do not owe us any fee for the consultation.
We know you work hard. Legal representation can be costly. That’s why we offer flexible billing and payment options. We will discuss payment specifics during the initial consultation.
Please be aware that several factors can affect the cost of representation, including:
- Complexity of your case
- Number of court appearances
- Involvement of a guardian ad litem
- Use of an investigator
- Filing fees
Custody cases can last from a few months to over a year. We will do our best to resolve as soon as possible, but the overall length of the case and the above factors will play a large role in determining your final costs.
